Ethics Case Study: Juan H.

The interpersonal worker in such a case study worked at the DASAR Children's Wellbeing Center. A great ESL instructor at a local elementary school called Juan H. to her. Juan came to the middle with his mom, Silvia.

Juan provided as a very thin 6-year-old who was little for his age. He spoke almost no English. He avoided eye contact with the interpersonal worker and would not speak. He fidgeted and then got up to wander around the sociable worker's workplace. He picked up a plush bear and helped bring it the social worker, crawled up into her lap and snuggled there. She rocked him lightly there when she ongoing talking to his mother about their financial difficulties, and Juan appeared to get to sleep. She lightly woke Juan and attempted to put him back on the floor, and as he got straight down from her lap, he reached up and kissed her around the cheek. That's exactly what went back to playing with the toys in the office.

His mother reported that they emigrated from South america 18 months back along with Juan's 17-year-old brother, Jaime. Juan experienced lived in a rural community in the Yucatan peninsula together with his parents and 3 old siblings till 2005 once hurricane Wilma destroyed their house.
